Strengthened by the Holy Spirit

Confirmation is one of the Sacraments of Initiation, along with Baptism and Eucharist. In Confirmation, the baptized are strengthened by the Holy Spirit and sent to live as witnesses of Jesus Christ in the world.

Through this sacrament, the Holy Spirit gives courage, wisdom, and strength for real life. Confirmation helps young people claim their faith more personally and recognize their place in the life and mission of the Church.

Confirmation for Youth

Confirmation preparation at St. Joan of Arc Parish is offered for high school students.

This process helps students:

  • Grow closer to Jesus
  • Understand what it means to be a son or daughter of God
  • Discover the gifts of the Holy Spirit
  • Find their place in the parish community
  • Learn how to live their faith with courage and confidence

Students and families will receive information about the preparation calendar, registration, sponsor requirements, service opportunities, retreat experiences, and the celebration of Confirmation.
